I just checked my new buddy ZDenny's blog to read his condemnation of the latest vile horse shit coming out of Pat Robertson's mouth, but couldn't find anything. How weird.

It seemed to me that someone who is constantly lecturing anyone willing to listen, and more who are not, about how he and his fellow members of the christianity cult have some kind of special grasp of Love(TM), that the non-brainwashed masses couldn't possibly fathom, would want to distance himself as quickly as possible from comments as repugnant as Robertson's.

For those of you living in a cave, Robertson's has recently given his explanation for the earthquake in Haiti:-

They were under the heel of the French, you know Napoleon the third and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said 'we will serve you if you will get us free from the prince.'…so the devil said, 'ok it’s a deal.' And they kicked the French out….But ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after another.

Maybe it's just an isolated incident and perhaps Robertson is just being misunderstood? Er, yeah, right!!

On 9/11

Agreed with Jerry Falwell guesting on the 700 Club when he said that god had allowed the attacks to take place because of the moral decay, specifically the ACLU, abortionists, feminists and gays. Robertson later tried to distance himself.

On Hurricane Katrina

I was reading… a book that was very interesting about what God has to say in the Old Testament about those who shed innocent blood… Have we found we are unable somehow to defend ourselves against some of the attacks that are coming against us, either by terrorists or now by natural disaster? Could they be connected?

Again, punishment from god. In this case for abortion.

On Hugo Chavez

On Women

The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.

This is what happens in such a religious country. Idiots like this gain positions of wealth, power and political influence. All the Love(TM) in the world won't make this a good thing.

People like Robertson, Falwell, Hagee et al need to be marginalized at every opportunity.
